Oh my goodness where to start?!? It's been a hectic but fabulous month full of appearances and preparations for graduation.
That's right, I will be an official college graduate in less then 2 weeks. I'm at a new precipice in life and it's exciting
and scary all that the same time. I have complete faith that whatever the future holds is what is meant to be and so I will
just continue to be grateful and content for my time and place.
April has brought A LOT of rain and A LOT of opportunities and fun. The Studio 2-B girls are busier then ever and we've ventured
to Paint Yourself Silly, a UNL campus tour, dietetics presentations and decision-making courses all in the span of a month.
The girls keep me busy but that are an amazing group of young women, but I think they are getting antsy for the summer!
Orientation weekend in North Platte was a blast. When I sat at Orientation I was so overwhelmed with pride for the organization
and the amazingly talented women in the room. That weekend reaffirmed my deep appreciation for the program and all that is
offers as well as my gratitude for all of the volunteers and amazing friendships I have gained.
I've been back and forth across Nebraska and visiting states getting things ready for Miss NE and I'm getting more and more
excited as the days go by. I have quite a few appearances scheduled for the month of May but one I am really anticipating
is at Children's Hospital. I am honored and SO excited that author, Heidi Cook asked me to accompany her to the hospital to
share her book "Razzle, Dazzle, Princess Girl" with the Children in May.
I'll continue to keep the website updated and hope that everyone is enjoying the beautiful spring season!
